Course Profile
Fuelled by curiosity and wonder, children are extremely fast learners, and take in all of their surroundings to grow and develop vital skills to prepare them for school and their future. As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the social and physical development of children ages 0-5, using imaginative learning techniques, encouraging language and literacy skills, and promoting independence along with the way. If you’re interested in this fulfilling and challenging career, this course is a great starting point.
Once you’ve gained your certificate, you’ll be a qualified Early Years Practitioner with NCFE CACHE. This means you can start working, under supervision, with children up to the age of 5, and you’ll have proven knowledge of working with children up to the age of 7. You’ll also count towards the Level 2 ratio as a qualified Level 2 Early Years Practitioner across the Early Years Workforce.
Course Content
This Level 2 programme is suitable for learners with some prior knowledge or qualifications in the Childcare sector. Units covered include:
Exploring roles and development opportunities in early years settings,
Child development from birth to 7 years,
Safeguarding babies and young children in early years settings,
Supporting health and safety in early years settings,
Promoting wellbeing in early years settings,
Supporting effective communication in early years settings,
Supporting activities,
Purposeful play and educational programmes,
Understand how to support children with special educational needs
Working with parents, colleagues and other professionals in early years settings.
Progression
This qualification allows a learner to count towards the Level 2 ratio as a qualified Level 2 Early Years Practitioner within the Early Years Workforce.
Learners may work under supervision in a variety of roles such as:
early years practitioner
classroom assistant
pre-school practitioner.
Learners are also able to progress onto Level 3 Early Years Educator
Qualification Fees by flexible monthly payment plan.
Our payments terms are made flexible to enables those interested in the course to create a monthly payment plan to pay for studying. There is no credit check, the initial deposit is £300, then the outstanding total is divided into the required number of months up to 8 months.
Learners can choose from the following monthly payment plans options:
Initial deposit £300before registration
8 months payment plan – Pay £87.5/month for 8 months
6 months payment plan – Pay £117/month for 6 months
3 months payment plan – Pay £234/month for 3 months
Once the full payment £1000 has been received, no other payment is required.
The payment made for this course covers IAG for the qualification, registration, training support and certification.
Note: Our Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner course is an Ofqual regulated course.
Qualification Delivery Process.
Initial learning Payment £300, for Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner.
Creation of the Learning Accounton Teams and registration with the awarding body.
Learner is assigned a tutor and initial learning resources and induction are provided to the Learner.
Learner is contacted by Finance admin to create their monthly payment plan.
Learner actively agrees to Policies, especially agreeing not to cheat on their assignments.
Qualification Enrolment completed
Further learning resources provided to the learner by their tutor via online classes on Teams and on their learning account.
Regular tutorials to further support learning
Learning done by the learner, and ongoing Learning Support by a tutor
Assessment of Knowledge-based Assessment Criteria by an Assessor, and Feedback
Assessment of Skills-based Assessment Criteria by an Assessor, and Feedback
Building the Learner’s Portfolio of Evidence, by the Assessor

Awarding Body Certification and issuing of the Hard-copy certificates confirming achievement of the full diploma according to the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)

Who is this course for?
This qualification is ideal for learners looking to work with children between birth and 5 years, and gain knowledge of working with children up to 7 years. Learners do not need to have previous experience or qualifications in working with children to undertake this qualification.

This course is delivered both face to face in a classroom/ at work and online therefore, requires learners to read and understand all course information given to them.
