Course Profile
The demand for care workers is ever growing. Are you working in or planning to work in the adult care sector? This qualification is what you need and will support you to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in a range of clinical healthcare support settings and adult care environments.
The qualification is formed of mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units cover core competencies while the optional units allow learners to choose from a variety of areas to tailor the qualification to their needs, interests and to reflect the context of their work.
The Diploma in Care course covers a wide range of areas including dementia awareness, mental health and well-being, supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and healthcare procedures.
The content of this course is also aligned with the knowledge and skills required for the Adult Care Worker and Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship standards.
Course Content
This programme has a requirement to achieve a minimum of 46 credits to gain the qualification. 24 credits gained from the mandatory units listed below and a minimum of 22 credits can be gained from the optional units.

Upon completion, learners can enter either the adult care or health workforces. The course is applicable to a variety of roles, including:
Adult care worker
Healthcare assistant/support worker
Personal assistant.
Progress to do a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care.
Learners studying for the Diploma in Care will be expected to develop the following skills during the programme of study:

Qualification Fees by flexible monthly payment plan.
Our payments terms are made flexible to enables those interested in the course to create a monthly payment plan to pay for studying. There is no credit check, the initial deposit is £200, then the outstanding total is divided into the required number of months up to 8 months.
Learners can choose from the following monthly payment plans options:
Initial deposit £200before registration
8 months payment plan – Pay £75/month for 8 months
6 months payment plan – Pay £100/month for 6 months
3 months payment plan – Pay £200/month for 3 months
Once the full payment £800 has been received, no other payment is required.
The payment made for this course covers IAG for the qualification, registration, training support and certification.
Note: Our Level 2 Diploma in Care course is an Ofqual regulated course.
Qualification Delivery Process.
Initial learning Payment £200, for Level 2 Diploma in care.
Creation of the Learning Accounton Teams and registration with the awarding body.
Learner is assigned a tutor and initial learning resources and induction are provided to the Learner.
Learner is contacted by Finance admin to create their monthly payment plan.
Learner actively agrees to Policies, especially agreeing not to cheat on their assignments.
Qualification Enrolment completed
Further learning resources provided to the learner by their tutor via online classes on Teams and on their learning account.
Regular tutorials to further support learning
Learning done by the learner, and ongoing Learning Support by a tutor
Assessment of Knowledge-based Assessment Criteria by an Assessor, and Feedback
Assessment of Skills-based Assessment Criteria by an Assessor, and Feedback
Building the Learner’s Portfolio of Evidence, by the Assessor

Awarding Body Certification and issuing of the Hard-copy certificates confirming achievement of the full diploma according to the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)
